Refund policy

United Colors of Naples Opera Posters are handmade. We use anything that works for printing: inks, paints, old letterpress type, leaves, newspapers and so on. 

 

Sometimes, though, we get it wrong. No problem: wrong Opera Posters will be remade and sent out again once we receive the one we shipped. For any information, just write to +39 392 162 9364 and explain the problem to start the return process. 

We're human, we make mistakes, and luckily we're not amazon :)

 

Please remember, though, that Opera Posters are real art commissions and, above all, personalised. A full refund of the work is not provided. 

Also, production takes at least 7 to 10 working days. With a frame, a few days more. 

Opera Posters are made by hand, they are not digital prints.

United Colors of Naples Opera Posters are handmade to order, based on the images and instructions provided by each customer. We use materials suited to artisan printing: inks, paints, old letterpress type, leaves, newspapers and more.

Order cancellation

You can request the full or partial cancellation of your order within 48 hours of purchase by writing to us at +39 392 162 9364 or customers@unitedcolorsposter.com. After 48 hours, the work goes into production and cancellation is no longer possible.

Right of withdrawal

Opera Posters are personalised goods, made to measure for each customer. Under Article 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206/2005), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.

It is therefore not possible to return the work because you have changed your mind or for reasons of personal taste.

Legal guarantee of conformity

The legal guarantee of conformity (Articles 129–135 of the Italian Consumer Code) remains fully valid, however. It protects you if the work you receive has a manufacturing defect or transport damage, or does not match what was ordered and approved in the preview (e.g. printing error, wrong size, image not matching).

In these cases, write to us at +39 392 162 9364 [via WhatsApp] or customers@unitedcolorsposter.com, explaining the problem and attaching photos. Once the defect has been checked — through photos and, if necessary, the return of the damaged or non-conforming work — we will make the work again from scratch, at no extra cost to you. The shipping costs for returning the non-conforming piece are paid in full by us.

Non-returnable items

Personalised works and gift cards cannot be returned for reasons other than a defect, damage or non-conformity with the order, as described above.
