The most iconic of all the photos of Lucio Dalla, the famous shot by Renzo Chiesa.
United Colors of Naples, in collaboration with, and above all thanks to, the author of the famous photo, Renzo Chiesa, created this Opera Poster of Lucio Dalla, from the stracciati series.
50x70 format and, from today, also 70x100: red colours and inks for intaglio, manual and artisan craftsmanship at the press, and the photo, torn. Fedrigoni 390 g watercolour paper and old letterpress type.
Limited edition of 10 pieces in 50x70 and 3 pieces in 70x100, signed and dated by theauthor of the photo and embossed United Colors of Naples, at a special price.
The Opera Poster, already framed, is the result of several manual and artisan techniques. Heavyweight paper from the Fedrigoni mills, intaglio inks, zinc plates and old movable letterpress type, and a photo, one of the most iconic photos of Lucio Dalla, taken by the photographer Renzo Chiesa, in Como, towards the end of the 1970s.
And a song, a line. «Conosco un posto nel mio cuore dove tira sempre il vento», from Cara.
The result is an artisan Opera Poster, worked by hand, with care, attention and technique. A tear, the torn paper.
Like an image that won't go away, like a song that always turns up, at random.
This second series is a top-level artisan project, made for the most demanding collectors.
